From Matthew Oh's website, sounds like labor sub will be history from next week.
What are people's guesses on how many of the BEC labor certifications will be rendered effectively useless because of this?
Also, does this mean it will be more straightforward to port PD after I140 approval (because the old employer has no benefit to revoking I140 anymore?)?

The questions is, if i have an approved I-140 from Company A and I switch over to Company B, then would i be able to file my 485 based on 140 related to Company A when my PD for Labor (company A) becomes current.

My mother is a GC holder since 91. I came to US in 2002 on F1 and then H1 and now GC.
Will the fact that my mom was a GC holder and I did not use that impact my GC? I have answered all the questions correctly(true i mean) always.

I have seen references that if there are different I-140 apps approved per family, there is a possibility of going for the 485 stage separately. Also I have seen posts stating that one can go for AOS and the other for CP.
How do you communicate to USCIS that for one you are doing AOS and the other you are doing CP, with reference to the 485 stage? When does this really happen?

the LCA needs to be done for any H1B or when the job is in a new location. it doesn't take long to get that submitted (<1 day) no need to go stamping. it doesn't cost any money to submit a new LCA

I got labor cert approve on FEB10 and going to apply I-140 via preium process in Mar 15.
My Laber cert was file on April 09 and I have been paid lower than prevailing wage since the company reduce working hour and aset of company is 0
Year 2008
W2 + Net income tax return of company reach required wage
Year 2009
W2 + ballance sheet reach required wage (but net income tax return for 2009 is not availble yet)
Are they going to ask for 2009 net income tax return in March? if my company going to file tax extension this year and I also afraid that the net income in tax return may be lower than the number in balance sheet this year.
Is it posible that My case would be get approve without any RFE?

I am trying to get an infopass to check my I-485 status
1. After selecting "you need information or other services" in the infopass process, The infopass is not showing me any appointment dates, instead it is showing "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."
I have done infopass before 6 months ago, and it showed me the date to select but now it is now doing that. just the message "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."
Does anyone faced the same issue and help me to get an infopass!

Where to check the current processing dates and when will we receive Green card?
Any idea still howmuch time will it take to get GC for the people with above PD date?

Maybe the 60 Minutes story from a few months ago is making a difference. DHS finally agreed today to show some humanity and not proceed for two year with deporting widows and widowers of US citizens (often American soldiers who die in combat) who only were denied green cards because their spouses died before USCIS could finish processing their cases. The courts have not been consistent in their rulings and it is going to take the US Supreme Court settling the matter (or DHS backing down). Hopefully, this marks the end of USCIS' rabid pursuit of a population that deserves...

Hey everybody, My friend have a situation. He is from Haiti and he been in the USA since 1998 on a visitors visa but stayed. Graduated school, but couldn't do nothing else because of his papers, he lived with his sisters and they didn't work on it. Had a little situation in 2007 where he left the scene of an accident because he didn't have papers. They called it a felony, and now the (TPS) came around and he got denied because of that felony. He doesn't know where or what to do, don't have money for lawyers because he cant work. Anybody out there been there that knows what to do please feel free to do so. GOD bless
