Hello,
Please let me know if anybody is travelling from BLR(Bangalore) to BOS (Boston) by British Airways on Mar 1 2011.
Because my mother-in-law is visiting US and she is travelling alone. If some travel companion is there it will be helpful as she does't speak english.

I have H 1B VISA but never went to USA....
1) now if i want to go there... will there be any problem
2) if I want to apply for another VISA work or Tourist... will i get?

Our AP expires on August 30 and we don't have any plans to travel this year. We have only plans for next summer.
Do I still need to get my AP renewed now? or Can I start my renewal process in next spring?

I am trying to apply my AP (I-131) renewal. My current AP will expire on Oct 17 2009.
I had few questions about the form. Can someone please help me with the answers of my questions?
Part 1
Q#3. Class of Admission: I used my AP to enter the country on Sep 7th 2009. I am currently working on EAD. What should I enter for this field?
Part 3
Q1. Date of Intended Departure: I do not have any trip planned right now. What should I enter for this question.
Q2. Expected Length of Trip: What should I enter for this question?
On Part 7 it says that
"On a separate sheet of paper explain how you qualify for an advance parole document, and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole."
Can someone please let me know what needs to be done for the above?

Hi,
My employer filed H1B transfer in Feb 2009. however he could not receive RFE letter with in time on mail and only received after RFE submitted date was expired which is May 25th, 2009
In jun1 1st week , he filed for the RFE extension for the stated reason and also refiled H1B to make sure that I should be in valid H1B status in case of first H1B denial in mean time
Employer submitted all the documents related to RFE on June 20th and it got approved on jul 1st.
What are the best options for H1B refiling case
in case if it is denied, will it super impose the original H1B approval ?
is it good idea to cancel/revoke pending H1B refiling case ?

If H1B extension gets denied and my employer will appeal it. My questions are
1. Can I allowed to work until I decision is made on appeal?
2. If appeal is denied, from when I will be consider as out of status? (from I-94 expiry date or appeal decision date)
3. After appeal denial what is the grace period to leave the US?
4. Can same employer is allow to file another H1 petition for me?

My PD is still another 10 months away but my AP which was approved 2 months back is getting a Soft LUD everyday since the last 4 days. Does it signify anything?

I got my first H1B transfer through a lawyer. The lawyer charged $3500/- out of which approx $2500 has to be paid by the employer as per law the lawyers charges would be around 1000 dollars for some paper work.
My second H1B transfer costed be 1200 dollars as lawyers fee and all other charges has to be paid by the employer as per law.
Its best to get an immigration lawyer involved since you can have a peace of mind. There is no need of premium processing. Once you get the receipt you can join the other firm. You don't have to wait till the process gets completed.

Hi there,
I have this question.
I have got the green card along with some of my family members except my older child who was 21 at the time of my I-140 application.
I filled out an I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN last December and it was approved last month.
I am a bit confused as on the approval notice it is said that in 90 days National Visa Center is going to send the beneficiary a set of instructions. Calling NVC myself I was told that they are not going to sent anything, it is supposed to wait for a visa number to become available and they are working now on visa cases from 2002!
Does anybody has an idea how this is working and how long it will take to get a "visa number" and a green card? Is the origin country (Romania) of any significance in terms of time?

I have cleared the exam today and putting it for sale. If you need please send me private message. I will donate 10% to IV. I am listing it here as there are lot of guys in IT and working in ERP.

I have a work related travel (2 days max) coming up in January. Do I need a canadian visa. I am on AP and my US visa on my passport has expired. My H1 is valid till 2009 (not stamped on the passport).
My question is Do I need a canadian visa? Let me know if anyone had a similar experience.
